Check your insulation!
When buying a new home, or if you have been there awhile, check the insulation in your crawlspace. You might check after doing some repair work, as the workers may not put the insulation back after they finish or some woodland creature may want some for a nest!

This is a possible fire hazard as the lint catches fire easily. Make sure your dryer discharges to the exterior of the home.
